Salsa: Monaco with a Spanish twist

Latest News

Monaco will resonate with the sound and rhythm of salsa from March 12 to 14. For the 5th edition of the Monaco Salsa Festival, the Louis II Stadium will host the “salsa village.” International, national, and local artists will take to the stage at the Salle du Canton. Among them, Juan Matos, a representative dancer of the current New York Style who will be present for the first time in the princely city, will showcase his talents. New groups like Scène Attitude, Salsa Siembra, or Yacambo will also put on a show. Since salsa has Latin American influences, the festival will also feature a Spanish touch with Falco y Virginia and Salsa del Barrio.
This event is also an opportunity to take salsa lessons in the four main rooms of the Louis II complex. The “salsa village” will also offer you the chance to shop: music, clothing, and shoes will be available for you.

Salsa is also making its way to television: a show themed around Havana will be broadcast live from 10 p.m. for 90 minutes. It’s an opportunity to combine comedy and dance. Fifteen groups considered the elite of salsa will perform. So, immerse yourself in Latin American culture during these 3 days.
