MARC-ANDRE LEGER (Canada)
First, he arrives from Canada to play blues for Europeans, with a resonator guitar in one hand and his Mac Book in the other.
His playground, “roots blues” in its simplest form: guitar/vocals. But beware, this man is surprising! He has an electrifying guitar style, combining dexterity and virtuosity, and as for his voice, it is sensual, velvety, and adds a touch of soul to the most traditional of blues. As a result, it grooves, itโ€™s funky, folk, and rock, always respecting the tradition of his roots.
Since his arrival in Europe in 2008, he has been recognized by his peers as an essential artist on the current blues scene. Some eloquent bookings (more than 100 concerts from 2008 to 2010):
Blues sur Seine, Les Nuits de Champagne, Nancy Jazz Pulsations, Cahors Blues, Hermance Jazz Festival, Festival Blues en Loire, Grรฉsiblues Festival, Crest Jazz Vocal, Quai des Blues, Cully Jazz Festival…
“Sail On” his first acoustic album, finally released in November 2010. It is both a tribute to Fred McDowell’s track “Sail On Little Girl Sail On,” which he has completely reappropriated, and a look back on his musical journey from Canada to Europe.

HUMANTRONIC (Berlin/Alpes-Maritimes)
The human part in the song generated by machines. Something that takes us back to Detroit, towards the mid-80s: an obsessive mechanism that drives bodies and minds into a state of trance. Since the 90s, Humantronic has been seeking, refining, and evolving his hypnotic techno music, both respectful of the great predecessors and very rooted in his time. Could this man be a machine? Maybe. But a machine with a heart that beats, or perhaps, to put it another way, one of the next milestones in a techno that has become increasingly strict.

SLIMFUL (Alpes-Maritimes)
In an electronic breath with rock, disco, and hip-hop nuances, Slimful makes the turntables vibrate and injects his dynamism into original compositions for 4 years now. As a member of the collective Les Diamantaires, Slimful delivers sets that constantly evolve between electro and techno, always in search of the frequency that will surprise you. His first EP “Try My Mind” will be released soon on the English label ThAF Records.
