The renowned opera singer DENIA MAZZOLA GAVAZZENI offers at the Cathedral of MONACO on Sunday, March 16, 2010, at 4 PM, Pergolesi’s “STABAT MATER”
Denia Mazzola Gavazzeni is undoubtedly one of the most fascinating figures in the world of opera. With around 140 roles in her repertoire, every stage across the globe has admired her dramatic talent, the reliability of her vocal technique, and her passion for a constant pursuit of excellence in the art of singing.
To perform Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater, this magnificent hymn to the Virgin Mary, the soprano will be joined by a star of the opera world, mezzo-soprano Laura Brioli, the baroque ensemble “L.Gafurio” from Lodi, and Michelangelo Lapolla on the harpsichord.
