For the second consecutive year, the Olympic Judo Nice offered the people of Nice a beautiful judo spectacle with most of the top senior teams from France and the Mediterranean region. ACBB won the competition by defeating Oise Picardie Judo in the quarterfinals, Sainte Geneviève Sports in the semifinals, and the Algerian national team in the finals. The local club ranked fifth. Prior to the final phases, the tournament was highlighted by a massive training session led by Loïc Piétri, the reigning Junior World Champion. Around 300 children from the club participated.
