The International Forum of Citizen Information (FOR.I.I.C) will bring together 3,000 participants in a single day. In addition to students, the forum expects the attendance of university students, teachers, journalists, and media professionals (lawyers, psychologists, media sociologists), and education sector stakeholders (both associative and professional) from the entire Nice academy. This year, FOR.I.I.C will offer 120 workshops led by journalists and media and press actors (Ivan Levaï, Marie-Pierre Courtellemont, Laurent Watrin, Pascal Delannoy, Jean-Michel Blier, Kenza Braiga, Jean-Luc Vannier, André Bercoff, Alban Mickoczy,…).

A key event of the press and media week, FORIIC follows the Junior Journalism Day which, for the past 8 years, has been dedicated to raising awareness among young people about the world of the press and the usage of information means by the educational community and the youth, aimed at fostering better understanding by young people of the world around them while developing their critical thinking skills.

THE NICE PREMIUM CONTEST

During this day, the “Nice Premium Contest” will be launched, allowing middle and high school students as well as university students to participate through an article or a photo covering current events in Nice. Culture, sports, heritage, local life… Themes are open, and candidates will have until Friday, April 30, to submit their article or photo to [redaction@nicepremium.fr](mailto:redaction@nicepremium.fr), specifying: name, surname, address, school/college, and a phone number for contact purposes.

The articles and photos will be published in full on Nice Premium, and internet users can thus vote for the article and photo of their choice. The best article and the best photo will be rewarded with cinema tickets, concert tickets, and many other prizes.
