“Women in the Spotlight”
The educational aim of this event is also to change mentalities and transform the negative perceptions that undermine the status of women in certain neighborhoods. These women, from a diverse population, contribute to the identity of France today, a France enriched by multiculturalism that combines respect and tolerance, which are the foundations of successful social cohesion.
This grand festival with its varied ethnic colors will also be an opportunity to share joyful and moving moments, featuring a Niçoise theater play and a world music concert.
Dominique Estrosi-Sassone, Deputy Mayor in charge of Housing, Vice-President of the Nice Côte d’Azur Urban Community, will represent Christian Estrosi, Minister of Industry and Mayor of Nice, at the 3rd edition of “Women in the Spotlight,” an event jointly organized by the City of Nice and the association Al Qalam “The Pen and the Word.”
