As part of the 13th Spring of Poets, the City of Nice organized a Poetry Forum for the first time.
This initiative, “The Fight Against Illiteracy,” enabled the people of Nice, who are poetry authors, to showcase their talent.
The poems selected by a jury will be read by actress Martine Pujol, in the most prestigious venue for books and literature, the Louis Nucéra Library.
– Detailed program:
o 2:30 PM: Opening of the Forum by Raoul Mille,
o 3:15 PM: Poetry readings by Martine Pujol, musical interlude by a student of the Conservatory,
o 4:00 PM: Haiku readings by Marianne Alban and Michel Herrmann,
o 4:30 PM: Open poetry readings inside the library.
