These are extraordinary athletes who will start on Sunday at dawn (6:30 am) from the Plage du Centenaire. These incredible athletes will undergo swimming, cycling, and running for an intense effort. The race will conclude around 3 pm for the leaders, 10 hours later for the less fast. But the time doesn’t matter, what matters is reaching the end of the course, reaching the end of oneself.
To experience the event up close, Nice Premium will follow the competition through Stéphane Revera. This former member of the French national rowing team will participate in his 3rd Ironman in the 5th largest city in France. This Nice native completed the course in 10 hours and 29 minutes in 2007. Alongside the event, the village is open from Thursday, June 24 to Monday, June 28 on Place Massena. Note that the only and unique Ironman labeled in France will offer 50 spots to participate in the Ironman of Hawaii, the most coveted triathlon on the planet.
