-“In the beginning, everything starts with writing.”
With this observation in mind, the Côte d’Azur Film Commission and its President Jean Pierre Leleux, Senator Mayor of Grasse, are launching a writing competition.
The goal of this initiative is to particularly support this link in the chain of audiovisual work development and to contribute to the development of a television series anchored in the Alpes Maritimes region.
It is within this framework that production companies are invited to participate in the Côte d’Azur “Series Challenge” writing competition by submitting their television series projects (detailed synopsis or first version of the script).
A jury composed of members of the Alpes Maritimes Côte d’Azur Film Commission and audiovisual professionals will review the submitted scripts and will award the winner with:
-a prize of 10,000 euros
-the provision of a local technical advisor
-the complimentary use of production offices for the duration of the filming
-facilitated shooting conditions on the Côte d’Azur
-Open since October, the submission period is extended until the end of 2011.
-A complete set of competition rules is available to production companies.
