A demonstration evening of Handi Fencing will take place on Saturday, April 16 at the Antibes Fencing School (Omnisports Hall, 288 Chemin de St Claude 06600 Antibes) starting from 6:30 PM.
The Regional Committee of Joinvillais and the Antibes Fencing School are organizing, as a prelude to their 7th International Handi Fencing Challenge, a demonstration evening.
This evening will begin with a demonstration by the young fencers of the Antibes Fencing School. It will be followed by a bout featuring visually impaired athletes, and then a bout with athletes in Adapted Sport.
As the grand finale, you will witness a demonstration by the French Handi Sport Team. A world champion, it will grace this major event with its presence, where a selection of able-bodied fencers in wheelchairs will compete, composed of local sabre fencers joined by high-level national fencers.
Its sole objective is to raise awareness of sports for all, whether able-bodied or disabled.
