This Friday, April 15, 2011, at 6:00 PM at the Musรฉaav, 16 bis Place Garibaldi in Nice, a large auction of artworks will be held in aid of the Japan disaster victims. The support from the Cรดte d’Azur for Japan remains strong!
Initiated by Gabriel Yoshitsune Fabre, the Museaav is organizing, in partnership with the city of Nice, three days of artistic mobilization to support the Japanese disaster victims.
Born in Tokyo and raised by a Japanese woman from Sendai, the artist Gabriel Yoshitsune Fabre wanted to bring together everyone who wishes to help the victims of this disaster by organizing an exhibition-sale and an auction.
This spontaneous initiative will give artists the opportunity to demonstrate that their Art is universal and that the public, by purchasing a work or participating in a performance, will share the same spirit of solidarity with them. Over 70 visual artists have responded to this call.
The sales will allow funds to be donated to the Japanese Red Cross as well as to the city of Sendai.
