On April 22nd at 7 p.m., an unprecedented event titled “The Time of a Fashion Show” will take place at Zonmé (7 bis rue des Combattants en Afrique du Nord in Nice). Nice-Premium invites you to participate in this rare event.
The initiator of “The Time of a Fashion Show” is Olfa Jamali. As part of her Professional Bachelor’s Degree in Event Communication at Sophia-Antipolis, this student seized the opportunity to implement a tutored project and proposed an innovative project: organizing a fashion show. Already involved in organizing several events (telethon in Biot, exhibition “From Virtual to Reality”, etc.), Olfa Jamali wanted to give young talents the chance to showcase their work to gain recognition within the fashion world.
A Dual Objective
This modern and original event, combining solidarity and creativity, has two goals: on one hand, to gain experience in organizing events, and on the other, to establish the department as a prominent fashion hub. Even though several fashion schools are established in the region, this event is rare enough to be highlighted.
A Guest of Honor
“The Time of a Fashion Show” has decided to spotlight the work of Widad Amri, a young designer from Nice. She has been passionate about fashion from a very young age, conceiving, drawing, and making her own outfits. Equipped with a BEP in Fashion Trades and a Professional Baccalaureate in Arts and Crafts, she creates personalized dresses for her circle. Inspired by Galliano, she works on various themes: Venice Carnival, the 1930s, Asian world, Eastern world, and more.

Zonmé is an exhibition and artistic meeting place recently opened in Nice in the Liberation district. It is a luminous New York-style loft dedicated to the artistic life in the PACA region. It is both a dynamic space, blending art(ists), knowledge, and disciplines, and a revolving platform for exhibitions, events, concerts, installations, performances, etc. “The Time of a Fashion Show” also benefits from the work of photographer Samira Naji and volunteers (students modeling, dressers, makeup artists, etc.).
