A collective of about ten associations and political parties fighting against the surface deviation of the RN7 at Golfe-Juan is organizing a demonstration this Saturday, November 6, 2010, at 10:00 AM at Golfe-Juan, at the square in front of the post office (square Nabonnand).
According to the spokesperson of the collective, Jean-Noël FALCOU (representative of Europe Ecology – The Greens), “the residents of Golfe-Juan are largely against the surface deviation project. Our petition already has over 5,000 signatures.
But this project is going to proceed against their wishes, and they will bear the consequences. […] We are demanding a referendum on the RN7 deviation project to dispel any suspicion of manipulation, particularly during the future public inquiry.”
