Building on its success with over 130,000 visitors since its opening at the end of June, the Maeght Foundation is extending its landmark exhibition โGiacometti & Maeght, 1946-1966โ until November 30, 2010. The public can still, for a few more weeks, visit this fantastic exhibition in the enchanting setting of the Maeght Foundation in Saint-Paul-de-Vence.
Praised by the press and popular with the public, this exhibition, under the patronage of the General Council of the Alpes-Maritimes and supported by prestigious partners, features 90 major works (bronzes, plasters, and paintings) and more than 80 drawings, engravings, photographs, and documents. Except for a few pieces that have moved to other exhibitions, all 170 works from the Foundation and the Maeght family collections, along with prestigious loans from international public and private collections, remain on the walls and in the rooms.
