Presentation of the Super 8 Edited-on-the-spot Collection 2010

The association Regard Indépendant organized in 2010 the associative production of a new collection of short films around the theme: The First Time.
The premiere of the films from this new collection will take place on Saturday, November 20, 2010, at 8:30 PM, at Mercury Cinema during an evening dedicated to super 8.
The films were made in black and white super 8 on the principle of “shot-edit.” The aim of this project is to encourage local creation through the use of an original format in a light and economical setup.
The concept of the collection was proposed to directors from the region. Each selected director received a reel of black and white super 8 film for creating a short film based on the proposed theme, The First Time. A total of 13 films were made.
Directors Antoine Banni, Roxane Petitier, Nathalie Portas, Sandrine Crombez, Frédéric Ccencini, Cyril Belange, Elisabeth Vissio, Cédric Coppola, and Vincent Jourdan will be present to discover their works alongside the audience.
Four reels were offered to directors from Köln (Germany) to establish a partnership with Televisor 6.0 and Soundtrack_Cologne 6.0 to stimulate exchanges between associations and broaden dissemination possibilities. These four films will also be screened in the presence of director Constanze K. Langhamer, who is coming for the occasion.
