Each year, Théoule-sur-mer aims to captivate by inviting people to follow “The Path of the Nativity Scenes” in an exceptional tour, which will reveal in the heart of the village over a hundred nativity scenes from all continents.
The flagship event of this edition (from December 4 to January 9, 2011) will be “The Nativity Scenes in the Forest of Fir Trees,” a unique exhibition for our region featuring 120 nativity scenes from around the world, all varying in size and crafted from the most noble materials, such as carved wood and threads of gold and silver, as well as a unique exhibition in Europe of 30 Peruvian nativity scenes with more than 1,000 figurines.
In the Cultural Space on Avenue Charles Dahon, an exhibit and sale of more than 10,000 santons from around twenty renowned and recognized santon makers from the entire PACA region will be offered to the public.
