Alongside the Lions and Rotary, OGC Nice presented a check at its premises to the association “Enfants sans douleur” on Wednesday evening. This was the result of a magnificent mobilization, as has been the case for several seasons.
For several years, OGC Nice has dedicated a match to the association “Enfants sans douleur.” Specifically, once a season, the club increases the ticket price by one euro. For each ticket sold, they add another euro.
The funds raised by OGC Nice, the Lions, and the Rotary Club, in the company of Dominique Estrosi-Sassone, Deputy Mayor in charge of housing, were handed over to the association yesterday. The association then redistributes these funds to other organizations that sometimes finance the purchase of medical equipment, and other times allow sick children to participate in outings.
Among the applications submitted, three were selected this year: those of the Parish of Our Lady of Wisdom by Father Jean-Hubert Thieffry, Enfants et Santรฉ Provence Cรดte d’Azur, and Caravelle. Each organization received a check for 3,000 euros, partly thanks to the generosity of the Gym’s supporters.
It is worth noting that the next operation at Ray in favor of the “Enfants sans douleur” initiative will take place during the last home game of the season, Nice vs. Lorient.
