Muriel Marland-Militello has been appointed as a member of the National Commission of the European Network of Cultural Meeting Centers.
She was chosen by the Minister of Culture, because of her cultural expertise, to visit and evaluate cultural spaces that wish to obtain this European label which rewards quality cultural projects reusing heritage and allowing cultural development to take root in areas, close to the people.
The European Network of Cultural Meeting Centers was established in 1991 in Dublin. It brings together 45 centers spread across 15 European countries. This burgeoning European network aims, in particular, to ensure the emergence of tomorrow’s artists and the transmission of knowledge.
During the Commission meeting on Thursday, January 5, 2012, in which Muriel Marland-Militello participated, two new French projects were labeled.
