At the Garibaldi Associations Space, from May 23 to 28, 2011, the city of Nice is organizing, in collaboration with humanitarian associations (DIA, Handicap International, Artisans du Monde, Source pour les Nations, A.A.F.E.R.M, A.F.R.I.C.A, UNICEF Alpes-Maritimes), a week to raise awareness among schoolchildren and the general public about solidarity.
The objective is to demonstrate that each of us can, individually or collectively, work for the well-being of humanity in areas as diverse as childhood, sustainable development, disability, fair trade…
During conferences/debates, meetings, concerts, and shows, the actions carried out by the local associative environment will be highlighted.
At the close of this event, on Saturday, May 28, 2011, the public is invited to share a large friendly meal on Garibaldi Square.
