As every year, the Nice Carnival organizes the election of the Carnival Queen. There are 9 young women competing for the title and from January 7th until February 5th, you can vote online for your favorite candidate.
Nine young women and every Monday, three of them see the crown slip away. As in previous years, it is a weekly elimination. Every Monday, the three candidates with the fewest votes can be supported by you for 48 hours. On Wednesday, only one can be saved, and the other two will be permanently disqualified.
The elected Queen will have the privilege of being the ambassador of Nice and its Carnival for a year. She will be offered a trip to Venice, a portfolio made by a professional photographer, and a one-year contract with the agency Enjoy Models.
So, who among Natalia, Fanny, Julie, Estelle, Alison, Jennifer, Kathleen, Alison-Victoria, or Iris will have this privilege? It’s up to you to decide by voting on the site. In 2012, more than 23,530 internet users from 57 countries voted.
Voters also have the chance to win prizes for their participation. The first prize is a stay at the Le Mรฉridien Hotel, two nights in a double room for two people (breakfast included). The second is a gourmet organic tasting menu for two people at the Sense restaurant in Nice. Finally, the third prize includes 4 grandstand seats for the flower battle (or 4 French Riviera 48-hour passes).
