It has become an institution, and many comic book fans gather in Valberg for two vibrant days filled with colors and images, mixing skiing, sun, relaxation, and meetings with renowned authors.
This leading festival, popular with comic book enthusiasts, returns this year with new authors who will be on-site to present their first albums, as well as already popular and well-known authors coming to meet their loyal readers. Many authors will thus be participating this year in this unique festival marked by enjoyment and relaxation.
Among them will obviously be the creator of this 11th edition’s poster, who will present the sixth volume of Lou (Glénat). Alongside: for the latest installment of “The Adventures of Spirou and Fantasio” (Dupuis), presenting the 14th volume of “The Little Devils” (Soleil), and for his new album of “The Adventures of Léonard” (Lombard), and his “Dungeon of Naheulbeuk” (Clair de lune) among many others…
Special meet-and-greet sessions and book signings with authors will certainly be organized, and many original activities (including a comic and manga creation workshop, among others) will also be offered to visitors, allowing them to showcase their artistic talents…
This bold initiative of offering a comic book festival in an atypical and original setting is now winning over everyone thanks to the relaxed and friendly atmosphere that characterizes it.
It’s an opportunity to experience a culturally enriching and busy weekend while enjoying the still snow-covered slopes of the Valberg resort.
THE BULLES DE NEIGE 2013 PRIZE (8th edition)
The winner of the 2013 Bulles de Neige Prize will be elected by all the CM1 and CM2 students from the Canton of Guillaumes (Beuil, Daluis, Entraunes, Guillaumes, Saint-Martin d’Entraunes, Villeneuve d’Entraunes, Châteauneuf d’Entraunes, Sauze, Valberg, Péone), forming a jury of nearly 45 members who will choose 1 winner from the three nominees pre-selected by the organizers.
