35 young people in Civic Service and 50 volunteers are working towards accessibility to parking spaces reserved for people with disabilities in the city of Nice.


volunteers-2.jpg The law of March 10, 2010, created the Civic Service: A civic engagement of 6 to 12 months for young people between 16 and 25 years old, regardless of their background and level of education. Among these young people, 35 volunteers from the Alpes Maritimes are joining 35 young volunteers and 15 volunteers from the French Association for the Paralysed and are committed to serving people with disabilities.

Together, they are organizing a departmental day of engagement on June 8th to inform the residents of the Urban Community of Nice Cรดte d’Azur (CUNCA) about the importance of leaving parking spaces reserved for people with disabilities free.

After an information session and an official welcome at 10 AM at the APF premises (3 rue Antoine Vรฉran in Nice), the engaged volunteers and participants will move to awareness-raising areas in different cities of the CUNCA starting at 2 PM
