Photographic Exhibition: L’Espace Magnan in Variable Geometry Mode

Latest News

This weekend, the Photon Association and Espace Magnan held the photographic opening of the collective exhibition “Géométrie Variable,” which will remain on display until March 8 in the entire Espace Magnan.

No less than 101 photos were exhibited at Espace Magnan across two floors. 23 professional or amateur photographers took on the task of capturing geometric shapes from all over the world or on the French Riviera. The images can produce quite surprising results with the interplay of shadow and light, specific landscapes, or even edits made after the photo was taken.

The Photon Association is the originator of the event. The association was created 8 years ago, bringing together around thirty enthusiastic photographers. Several other exhibitions are taking place right now in various locations on the Côte d’Azur: at the Forum Nice Nord and the Museum of History and Art in Villeneuve Loubet.

“Our goal is to organize as many openings as possible to share the works of the association’s 35 members,” explains Christian Nicot, the association’s treasurer. “The exhibitions are not for profit, but the photos are for sale if anyone is interested.” Prices range between €120 and €150.
