This Saturday, June 18, 2011, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., at Place Garibaldi in Nice, a municipal information day dedicated to early childhood will be held. Indeed, since 2008, the city of Nice has been committed to a dynamic of developing childcare spaces in early childhood establishments in order to best meet the needs of families.
Last week, Christian Estrosi, Deputy Mayor of Nice and President of Nice Cรดte d’Azur, together with his deputy delegate Franรงoise Monier, launched a recruitment campaign for qualified professionals for their early childhood deputy directorate. Positions available include child nurses, nurses, early childhood educators, and childcare assistants to ensure the proper functioning of establishments and quality care for young children in Nice.
So that the general public (students, parents, professionals, etc.) can discover and learn about the world of early childhood: its professions, the different types of care, the life of a child in daycare, etc., a municipal information day is organized on Saturday, June 18, 2011, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Various information stands and educational workshops will be led by professionals:
– Discovery area for Early Childhood professions;
– Discovery area for types of care;
– Information area on nutrition, health, psychology, and disability;
– Area of the Family Allowance Fund (information on family benefits) and on Maternal Assistants’ Relays;
– Fun activity areas for children.
