Eric Ciotti, president of the CG 06, praised the performance of the research teams:
“I am pleased that five research laboratories in the Alpes-Maritimes were selected on Tuesday, February 14, by the Ministry of Research, as part of the second call for projects under the Laboratory of Excellence (Labex) program.
The General Council has always believed in the excellence of these research teams and has consistently defended their creativity by providing them with well-deserved confidence and unwavering support.”
(*) The five selected laboratories:
– Distalz develops innovative strategies for a transdisciplinary approach to Alzheimer’s disease,
– UCN@Sophia is focused on the services that the internet of tomorrow can offer to users,
– ICST deals with ion channels of therapeutic interest,
– Signalife aims to explore in detail the principles of communication at the level of living cells,
– Ganex aims to create a national public-private network on the manufacture of electronic components based on Gallium Nitride.
