The UIMM Côte-d’Azur has elected its new President, Daniel Philippe, President of Schneider Automation.
On the occasion of this General Assembly and in the presence of Jean-François Pilliard, General Delegate of the UIMM, the members discussed the
topic of the competitiveness of industrial companies, as well as the role and missions of the UIMM.
Daniel Philippe praised the dedication of his predecessor, who faced the heavy task of leading the UIMM Côte-d’Azur during a challenging period, the economic crisis, from 2007 to 2011.
He added: “For my part, I wish to share my passion for Industry and my conviction that the industry still has a place in the national and international economy.
We must now adapt the skills of men and women to the new technological, environmental, and economic challenges that industrial companies must address.”
