For nearly four years, a comprehensive renovation plan for sports facilities has been launched by the municipality of Nice. Christian Estrosi, Mayor of Nice: “Sport begins right outside your door, but we must create the proper conditions for it.”
The municipal swimming pools have notably benefited from significant redevelopment and rehabilitation work: Jean Médecin, Comte de Falicon, Saint François… as well as the Jean Bouin sports complex (swimming pool, ice rink, fitness center) taken over by the city in 2009.
In addition, all the pools are now equipped with the Horanet computer system, which facilitates access for everyone to the facilities. Now, swimmers enjoy the best conditions in the pools!
More than 1 million people (excluding clubs and schools) have visited the pools of Nice over the past three years, including 500,000 entries for the Jean Bouin sports complex (swimming pool, ice rink, and fitness center)!
