“XY with Skin Emotion”, a performance by Cie Artefakt
The Nice-based company Artefakt. This evening is organized as part of “Urban Attitude”, a program of activities focused on urban cultures organized by the city of Nice throughout the year in Recreation and Leisure Centers.
The dance performance “XY with Skin Emotion” brings together on stage a couple who lose themselves in excess and will rebuild through travel and a return to their roots. It explores how two individuals, traveling the same path with different sensitivities, confront a return to the very essence of who they are, facing themselves, each other, and the world.
Combining the hip-hop universe with other cultures and artistic forms, choreographer Céline Amato’s show offers a journey from the inside out.

Opening Act: SLAM by a young woman from Nice, 81 years old
Blanche Clippet, a young woman from Nice, 81 years old, passionate about writing and music, will recite her texts “The Delinquent”, “The Old Mistress”, and “The Rose”. An opportunity for the audience to discover or rediscover slam, a form of spoken sung and chanted poetry.
In the theater lobby, children and teenagers who attended the “Urban Attitude” workshop will perform a dance show.
