At the height of summer, the South is in full swing and its festivities catch the eye of tourists from all over the world. The Alpes-Maritimes serve as a guide, with its towns teeming with more or less well-known events, showcasing immense talents. The Bahia Jazz 2011 is one of those must-see events soon to be regarded as landmarks.
The charm of a summer season, the lightness of a magnified period, synonymous with holidays and escapeโฆ July often rhymes with the best, with arts and their craftsmen in the spotlight.
From the warm ground of the Cรดte dโAzur, world music also finds a gilded platform, as pure talents remain faithful to their posts for each event.
Between the Nice and Cannes atmospheres, the Riviera styled Villeneuve-Loubet has begun an exercise composed of festivals, shows, and other gatherings around confirmed or emerging artists.
Near the Marina Baie des Anges, not far from the Cote dโAzur Hippodrome of Cagnes-sur-Mer, the Bahia Jazz is already making a name for itself, its stage approach already sparking interest from both enthusiasts and the general public.
A plush setting, an idyllic backdrop, the hectare of parkland of the Bahia Hotel and its luxurious terraces host this festival dedicated to jazz with a fresh idea: one date per week with feet in the water, where a rising jazz star will present their scales to the audience and share their repertoire under the starry sky.
The concept of an almost private concert, in the open air, for an intimate ambiance open to all.
