The Alpes-Maritimes department has managed to position itself as a welcoming land for industry with more than 3,900 establishments generating a turnover of 7 billion euros. On Friday, March 23, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the CCI Nice Côte d’Azur – 20 boulevard Carabacel in Nice.
With 36,000 jobs, the industrial sector is a promising sector that this second edition of the “Industry Week” intends to highlight: industrial professions sometimes suffer from a lack of attractiveness. This situation leads certain sectors and industrial professions to encounter recruitment difficulties.
The goal is to dispel preconceived notions about the industry by “opening the doors of the industry” to the general public, young people, and job seekers while showcasing the potential and diversity of the professions.
Local informational, communication, and awareness-raising actions are thus organized as part of this 2nd “Industry Week”.
On this occasion, Bernard KLEYNHOFF, President of the CCI Nice Côte d’Azur, organizes and presides over a meeting between industrialists and middle school students.
This meeting will promote the territorial industry and its professions in a logic of proximity: 6 local companies will have the opportunity to present themselves to nearly 100 middle school students with video reports in the various sectors of the Azurean industry to support. Exchanges between young people and leaders, questions/answers will provide opportunities to inspire vocations by showcasing the activity of companies.
