In December 2012, the City of Nice and the Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolis launched the first Metropolitan culinary competition for seniors during the Senior Avenir fair.
Eight seniors, passionate about cooking, were selected on March 26 by a jury* mainly composed of renowned chefs to participate in the grand finale to be held on Monday, April 8 at the Paul Augier Hotel School.
Starting at 2 PM, they will prepare their recipe on site, with the help of kitchen assistants. At 5 PM, the jury will taste the dishes before announcing the winners’ names at 6 PM.
All the selected recipes will be compiled into a cookbook.
