From June to September 2011, the departmental service of line 100 between Nice and Monaco will indeed be strengthened with the introduction of 6 articulated buses, in order to accommodate the growing influx of travelers on this route, mainly due to cruise passengers.
Provided by the Nice Côte d’Azur Urban Community, these articulated buses will operate on the departmental network every Sunday in June and September, and daily during the months of July and August.
With a length of 18 meters, they will improve the service offered to users since they can carry 150 passengers, which is 50% more than a traditional urban bus.
In 2010, 12,000 passengers used line 100 daily.
