“1 km traveled = 1 euro donated to the Mission Locale” is the motto of the Ride For Jobs event, which will be held on April 13 and 14 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Place Garibaldi in Nice. The goal? To increase the number of kilometers on stationary bikes to raise the amount of money donated to this association.
On April 13 and 14, the Ride For Jobs association team will set up at Place Garibaldi in Nice and offer you an extraordinary challenge. The principle is simple: using stationary bikes, you will need to increase the distance on each bike’s odometer to raise the donation amount that will be made at the end of these two days to the Mission Locale Communautaire Nice Côte d’Azur.
The Mission Locale, chaired by Dominique Estrosi-Sassone, welcomes, listens to, supports, and guides young people aged 16 to 25 in search of a job or training. This association offers a range of services directed at young people who have left the school system and are seeking professional integration.
It assists them in resolving all the difficulties inherent to their social and professional integration and helps them to develop a training project that will allow them to access employment.
.
Ride For Jobs is organized by students from the ESPEME EDHEC business school. This event is part of their training program and allows them to implement the teachings they receive. The operation is financed by their sponsors, among others, Intermarché St. Laurent du Var and Banque Populaire Côte d’Azur.
