It is scientifically proven that the benefits generated by regular physical activity are countless! A 2007 prospective study shows that engaging in physical activity at a level close to the recommendations results in a reduction in mortality risk of around 30%.


marche_nice_senior.jpg Regular physical activity helps prevent many lifestyle-related diseases (cancer, diabetes, cardiovascular diseases,…) and aging-related conditions (Alzheimer’s, sarcopenia, osteopenia,…).

Regular physical activity effectively enhances physical capacities (balance, strength, endurance, flexibility,…) and psychological well-being, resulting in a better impact on the practitioner’s well-being and quality of life.

AS Pauliani and Vitalisport are joining forces to develop a Sport-Health activity program in Cimiez.

The objective of this program is to allow participants to regain their fitness and a certain freedom of movement by engaging in regular physical activity adapted to their abilities.

Furthermore, this original program will provide support to the Senior population of Cimiez who are increasingly suffering from social isolation.

Two discovery sessions of active walking (duration 1h15) will be organized at the Arènes de Cimiez starting at the end of April: Tuesday, April 23 at 10 am and Tuesday, April 30 at 10 am

The meeting is set at 10 am at AS Pauliani (avenue Monté Crocé, in Cimiez).
All levels are welcome during these two Discovery sessions.

Starting in May, active walking sessions will be organized each week.
