I do not accept that Christian ESTROSI conflates the delegations he entrusts today to the “peyratist” allies with the presidency of the Appeal Commission and the Finance Commission, which he entrusted at my request and after negotiations to two of my running mates, Mari-Luz HERNANDEZ-NICAISE and Yann LIBRATI, who are opponents and who perform remarkable work alongside me.
The exercise of these responsibilities appeared in 2008, in a city sensitive to corruption issues, as an effective way to serve the general interest of the City, without being assimilated to openness.
This is in no way an endorsement of the policy currently being pursued by the Mayor of Nice.
