The Montolivo Academy, in partnership with the Villefranche-sur-Mer city hall, has created the first link in an Olympic chain to bring together all the school children in Villefranche-sur-Mer within a support committee for the French Olympic team on the eve of the London games.
The Departmental Olympic and Sports Committee of Alpes-Maritimes, along with the Departmental Directorate of Social Cohesion 06, are partners in the operation.
The award ceremony, with all the children in attendance, will take place at Calderoni Primary School in Villefranche-sur-Mer on Thursday, April 19, starting at 4 p.m.
