“Do you want to know everything about sustainable development and its careers?”

A 5-day training course, half-theoretical, half-practical, is offered by the Center for Marine World Discovery at the Base de l’Aigle Nautique in Nice, in partnership with the Local Employment Integration Plan, funded by a grant from the European Social Fund.

Through presentations by employment specialists and sustainable development careers, site visits, interactive workshops, and a kayaking excursion, we will provide you with a new perspective on sustainable development!

This training is aimed at populations seeking autonomy or in vulnerable situations, primarily job seekers and low-income individuals.

Its goal is to prioritize social connection and exchange through participatory workshops to improve self-confidence, provide theoretical and practical knowledge about the concept of sustainable development and its careers, as well as promote exchange to recreate a dynamic, and provide the necessary tools for increasing the chances of a swift and effective return to the workforce, and finally, to encourage a spirit of initiative and entrepreneurship.

Participants will attend the Sustainable Employment and Green Growth Careers Forum at the Eco’parc in Mougins. There will also be presentations by professionals like the Chamber of Trades and Crafts, a temporary employment agency, and the professional training association for adults. Finally, they will visit the Super Rimiez drinking water treatment plant managed by Veolia Eau.

– The next training session, lasting five days, will take place on May 9, 10, 11, 14, and 15, 2012, with 12 job seekers.
