Street food distributions are provided all year round. They currently meet the needs of more than three hundred people every evening (distribution at sites and patrols). Secours Catholique is calling for temporary and exceptional commitment (a minimum of two weeks is desired). Everyone is welcome!
Paradoxically, summer is a more challenging period to manage because the teams of distributing associations are less “staffed,” and the constraints regarding the products due to the heat are stronger.
This year, given the growing number of people arriving at distribution sites, Secours Catholique needs help to support the teams of the various associations already mobilized.
A distribution involves several steps: Products need to be gathered (often the day before or the morning of), then the food is prepared (in the afternoon), and finally distributed to people in need (from 6 PM to 10 PM).
