Since his resignation from the UMP in March 2011 in response to certain divisive maneuvers among the French, Dr. Marouane Bouloudhnine, an orthopedic surgeon in Nice, Municipal Councilor of Nice, and Metropolitan Councilor of Nice Côte d’Azur, today announces his candidacy in the legislative elections in the 3rd constituency of Nice.
He will continue to practice his profession, which, as he specifies, aligns with his passion for healing, while giving him independence and freedom of action, “as opposed to those who have no other profession than politics. Today, while continuing to treat my patients, I wish to help heal my country,” he declares.
Dr. Bouloudhnine is the candidate of François Bayrou in the 3rd constituency.
“The center is often a point of balance for a country. That’s what we need today.” The candidate aims to gather all talents, wherever they may be, to help make the enterprise France succeed.
Marouane Bouloudhnine defines himself as a citizen serving France and his fellow citizens, not a party man. Deeply attached to republican values and particularly secularism, his program includes fighting against public debt and unnecessary expenses, as well as moralizing public life “which is currently entangled in far too many conflicts of interest occurring secretly to the detriment of the citizens.”
His deputy, Isabelle Roth-Sprugnoli, also well-established in Nice, is an art dealer and an accredited Expert at the European Chamber of Expert Advisors in Works of Art.

Like Marouane Bouloudhnine, she believes that “her party is France” and she wishes to work actively for its renewal. Both think that “good ideas don’t belong to just one party and that we must fight against sectarianism wherever it comes from, because France needs all good ideas.”
Marouane Bouloudhnine adds that he is “a man of a country, not a man of a party.”
