The Phoenix Park hosts 23 young Chinese artists who have come specifically to engage in an artistic exchange with their Nice counterparts aged 6 to 10: 50 students from CE1 and CE2 from three classes of La Digue des Franรงais schools 1 and 2.
The Nice schoolchildren are exhibiting the works they have created in class: “Coco Tigresse in the style of Niki de Saint Phalle”, a large Carnival head and the character “Le Cougourdon” (class of Michel Morandi with artist Christine Hรฉrault), project “Cultures through writing” (CE1 class of Karen Boyer with painter artist Karine Mari), “Asian Cherry Blossoms” and “Chinese Shadows” (CE1/CE2 class of Chadia Bouajla), the Nanita statue with Vallauris artist Annie Bouchard…
This first Franco-Chinese Youth Artistic Exchange Fair in Nice allows the youth from both countries to express their talent through a public exhibition in the presence of artists and officials, punctuated by an award ceremony for each participant.
