The collective “O.I.N. Plaine du Var: For a Citizen Debate” has decided to address all the candidates in the legislative elections for the 6th, 2nd, and 5th constituencies with the following questions, in partnership with France Nature Environnement and its regional network:
1. Are you for or against the National Interest Operation Plaine du Var, particularly considering the agricultural, environmental, and legal issues that are part of the concern?
2. How did you react to the announcement of the O.I.N., and what actions have you taken since its proposed creation to date?
3. Once elected as a deputy, how do you intend to approach your actions regarding the O.I.N. Plaine du Var?
Indeed, given the continued lack of public and citizen consultation on all the illegal and financially scandalous grandiose projects, we wish to hold the candidates accountable and inform them that their responses will be made public. A lack of response will be considered as support for the O.I.N. Plaine du Var and all related projects.
The collective continues and will continue its work of informing and engaging in citizen advocacy until these projects are halted and a public and citizen consultation has not taken place.
