A new Cultural Space has just opened its doors in Nice, at 17 Rue des Ponchettes. A 130 mยฒ workshop available for various exhibitions, conferences, seminars, plays, or fashion shows.
The VALPERGA Gallery is expanding! At 17 Rue des Ponchettes in Nice, “The Workshop” has just inaugurated its brand-new premises.
In “cohabitation” until mid-July with Christian Geai and his painting and trompe-l’ลil workshops, the Atelier offers several rooms for cultural purposes: in a highly artistic setting, with white walls and paintings benefiting from the natural light filtering through the glass roof, it aims to host painting, theater, writing, and body expression workshops, as well as exhibitions, conferences, seminars, and fashion shows.
The Workshop can accommodate nearly fifty people for these different events.
Sylvette Cohen, the instigator of the project and Director of the Workshop, identified this location in October and admits she pondered for a long time before deciding to buy it from its owner, Christian Geai.
It took her no less than 5 months to refurbish the premises to her liking, in order “to evolve in art, surrounded by a multitude of paintings.”
The money that “The Workshop” collects will be donated to various charitable associations related to the field of childhood.
Starting from August 1st, the Workshop will host its first exhibition: “Nude or Perfectly Groomed, Are We Spot On?” – quite a program!
