On Friday, June 22, Mr. Eric Ciotti, Deputy, President of the General Council of Alpes-Maritimes, will present the excellence awards to the deserving students of Ségurane Middle School.
Since 1990, the General Council of Alpes-Maritimes has been rewarding deserving middle school students in the department at the end of the school year. This is based on criteria of merit selected by the institutions, by providing a grant to the participating schools for the purchase of the awards. The selection criteria, chosen by the teaching team, prioritize academic results and the work provided, but also consider progress made during the year, the sense of effort, and general behavior.
This year, around forty students from Ségurane Middle School will receive the deserving student award, and around sixty students will be recognized for their sports achievements or artistic activities.
