The Ministry of Sports and the CNOSF have jointly launched a plan called “1,000 Young Volunteers Future Leaders of Sports Associations” to encourage young people to take on associative responsibilities and promote the renewal of association leaders.
It is essential to prepare the next generations of leaders by giving them a very concrete understanding of the responsibilities they will have in the future. A specific training program focusing on the main skills to be acquired for taking on leadership roles is being set up in each region of France.
This is why the two Regional Olympic and Sports Committees (CROS) of Cรดte dโAzur and Provence Alpes, in partnership with their six Departmental Olympic and Sports Committees (CDOS – 06, 83, 04, 05, 13, and 84), are organizing a free, unique, and coordinated training project:
The Regional Olympic and Sports Committee of Cรดte dโAzur will host 120 trainees under mentorship, aged 16 to 25, from 16 different sports disciplines!
The organizers’ aim is to provide all the means necessary for young people to gain experience and knowledge, forming the foundation for their future commitment to sports.
