On September 16, 2011, UPE 06 in partnership with Ambre International gave birth to the first edition of PRAC06 – Responsible Pathway of Artistic and Cultural Meetings in the Alpes-Maritimes. This atypical event aimed to create a lasting bridge between two worlds that still misunderstood each other: the economic world and the artistic world.
What really became of the initiatives born from this event?
The PRAC06 team wanted to conduct an initial assessment. Therefore, the PRAC06 format is evolving in 2012!
It is opening up to experience feedback through testimonies and exchanges.
The participants of PRAC06 2011 as well as new companies participating in 2012 are invited to an evening organized
on Tuesday, July 3, at the Opio Leisure Park starting at 5:30 PM,
under the sponsorship of Thierry OCCELLI, Mayor of Opio, and KRISTIAN, cartoonist and humorist.
This privileged moment will allow:
• Sharing concrete successes of artist-business partnerships in various artistic fields (visual arts, theater, dance…),
• Rediscovering artworks and artists in a new exhibition or performance space,
• Hearing the expectations of other businesses present,
• Stimulating direct exchanges between business leaders and creators.
Testimonials of concrete artist-business projects:
• The restaurant Le Moulin de Mougins with the creation of an artist residency.
• 3 companies Ferronnerie Parola, Ippolito Trucks, and Véolia with artist RIGOBALTI highlighting different types of sponsorship such as in-kind sponsorship (artist residency and supply of materials) and monetary sponsorship (stand financing for an Art fair).
• Theater man and business leader, Alain Illel,
• The City of Mougins with the renovation of the Chapel Notre-Dame-de-Vie, among other sponsors, Anny Courtade.
• SICASIL, the intercommunal drinking water union of the Cannes area, and visual artist Isabelle Chemin, initiating the sculpture “Children on the Move” specially created for the Intercommunal Park of the Siagne Canal.

In accordance with the initial formula of PRAC06, the discovery path of heritage and artistic creations is maintained, taking place both in-person and virtually on the site of the Leisure Park with a spotlight on the Cannes Basin for this 2012 edition.
The use of new electric vehicles (car, bike, scooter…) which was highly appreciated last year, will take place on this occasion on a reserved course near the Leisure Park.
It is to support living artists that UPE06, in partnership with Ambre International, created the PRAC06 Pathway of Artistic and Cultural Meetings.
