As every year, the French Hiking Federation of the Alpes-Maritimes presents the hiking festival, which this year is centered around the Urban Hiking Week, organized in close collaboration with the House of the Environment, from October 7 to 13, 2013.
This week aims to be a mix and sharing between hiking, art, culture, health, family, and the discovery of Nice and its surroundings.
Every day, different routes are offered to participants, allowing them to discover: the route of the GR®5 in Nice; the city and its magnificent buildings at night; the flora and the museums of Nice; the famous hills of the City of Nice; and not to forget, the beautiful coastline from Nice to Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat.
Several family hikes are on the schedule: hikes called “health and well-being”; sporting hikes; and Nordic walking.
