Madam Serena Lippi, the new Consul General of Italy in Nice, met with Rudy Salles, representative of the City of Nice.
On this occasion, the bonds of friendship between the Italian community and the city of Nice were confirmed, as well as the words of institutional collaboration to promote cross-border cultural, economic, and tourist exchanges.
More than 8,000 Italians reside in Nice, but it is estimated that over 10,000 own a secondary residence and stay there for several months each year.
Madam Serena Lippi is a career diplomat. Recently, she held the position of Advisor to the Directorate General for Economic and Scientific Promotion at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Rome.
Furthermore, she worked at the Italian Embassy in Tripoli for four years and at the Italian Delegation to the EU in Brussels between 2002 and 2006.
