For about fifteen days, the Urban Night Owls managed, in a tremendous spirit of festivity and sharing, to create new moments, music, performances, and other improvisations.
On October 29, it’s Saint Narcissus Day and it’s in Nice! Concerts, exhibitions, readings, performances here, there, from here and there… almost everywhere!
The closure of this event will feature an artistic health trail of 17 stages over 7.7 km with a surprise performance at Atelier Le Salon (a reading by Sophie Taam at 7:30 PM) and a concert by Chinasky at 8 PM at La Zonmé.
And to finish… An evening at the Hi Hôtel with a triple concert by Washing Majazz, Ninety’s Story, and Helium.

The Manifesto of the Urban Night Owls
We, the Urban Night Owls, believe that art is indispensable to the city, and urbanity is indispensable to life. And vice versa. We respond to a need for visibility, networking artists and hosts creating a vibrant and demanding art, outside any official line, established circuits, and political compromise: no institution, no subsidy, in full freedom – no commission, entirely for free.
The open and generous participation of artists, hosts, and the public in the first edition of the Saint Narcissus celebration on October 29, 2012, in Nice, proved the validity of this approach.
After inventing their annual celebration, last but not least, the Urban Night Owls create their journal, aerodynamic, pamphlet-like, and reactionary, conceived as a workshop, a workshop of humanity, a socio-cultural information platform, a space for free expression and affirmation of independence. Let us ensure the celebration is spiritual and that art is in our lives. And vice versa.
