Radio IPAG, a successful attempt for the Master Media Manager team

The task was not the simplest with the organization of the launch of Radio Ipag and the first live broadcast of the Master Media Manager. But for a first attempt, it was a masterstroke with an evening perfectly organized and animated by all the students of this new curriculum in Nice.

mmm_emission.jpg Leila, Émeline, Vanessa, Fiorella, Caroline, Eeva, Heloïse, Vanessa, Thomas, Antoine and Tristan: A cohesive team that worked well all week, with their “coaches” Angélique and Franck, on preparing the evening navigating between research of information, contact with guests and musical groups, preparation of questions, and live coverage of the evening on social media. Not less was needed to succeed in this gamble!

So the gamble was held with a first show followed by thousands of listeners on the Parisian waves of Radio Sensations and by nearly 7,000 visitors on the different sites broadcasting the show in video. “I am very happy with this premiere, the students were very good for a first performance on set and they received excellent feedback from their guests. We are already looking forward to working on the second broadcast.” Angélique exults just after the end of the transmission.

Because now there will be regular appointments that the team of the Master Media Manager will offer on Ipag Radio with shows still on Friday evenings to allow broadcasting on the Parisian FM of Radio Sensations, but also other show concepts which will see these young people host the radio set of the 2012 Nice Telethon or the upcoming Cinéalma Mediterranean Film Festival in Carros, to then become active partners of the next Press Week at School in collaboration with the Nice Rectorate. A busy schedule that will plunge the students into the heart of events from very different sectors of activity.

“A great evening, yes, even if we had the right to some small hiccups but, overall, we are all very happy and especially very proud of the work accomplished by these eleven students who, it must be remembered, have only two short weeks of classes to their credit.” Franck Viano, educational coordinator of the Master Media Manager, can be satisfied with the work done during this last week which has not been a rest at all, “Preparation of the show, management of radio and video techniques, general organization, management of guests and musical groups… Yes, the week has been long, and this proves the work done by the whole team to organize this first event.”

The next step now, beyond managing and implementing the upcoming live shows, is the preparation and design of thematic shows that will form the future program of Ipag Radio. On the menu, a Sports show, a Culture show, and a Public Life show which will allow students to work as a team alternating the roles from technique to presentation.

The weekend will therefore be well deserved for the students of the Master Media Manager who will return to service on Monday morning at 8 am with, this time, memories full of a Friday like no other….
