Organic market: 50 organic farmers from the Alpes-Maritimes
Agribio 06 brings together a large number of organic producers from the Alpes-Maritimes in a single market. All sectors will be represented, and you will find all seasonal fresh products (a wide variety of vegetables – tomatoes, zucchini, eggplants, peppers, fresh onions, radishes, Swiss chard, saladsโฆ) as well as the iconic products of the
chefs.
The Toques Brรปlรฉes cook biodiversity! At aperitif time, Agribio 06 launches a new challenge to the Toques Brรปlรฉes, these young chefs working in all types of restaurants will have to improvise culinary preparations with the market basket. The difference is that this time the “old” varieties will be honored!

Four conferences: health โ food sovereignty โ biodiversity โ rurality: “How to eat healthily in 2012?” (10:00 AM) with Dr. Laurent Chevallier, nutritionist doctor; “Rurals or the convergence of the uncouth” (2:00 PM) gesticulated conference with Hervรฉ Chaplais; “What use of land in France and PACA by 2050?” (3:30 PM) by Charlotte Bordet from Solagro; “Seed guardians,” debate and screening.
Activities for young and old alike! Organic farmers and their partners share their know-how and passion: Tasting of goat milk and making fresh cheeses, Making compote/jam, bio cosmetics, Stand on eco-construction, poultry and animal park, “Oleology,” discovery of organic beekeeping, “Everyone in the garden”: creative workshop around the producer’s hand.
Seed and organic untreated plant exchange. This space is dedicated to amateur gardeners to promote cultivated biodiversity and the multiplication of seeds of local vegetable varieties and local food production. In the city, residents can also produce part of their food organically thanks to family gardens, balcony, and terrace vegetable patches.
